Biology at dalThe Department of Biology offers a number of courses that cover various branches of biology. Dalhousie University has identified three general areas in biology:
Ecology and Evolution
Organismal Biology Cell/Molecular Biology Within these general areas, Dalhousie has recommended 3000 and 4000 level courses that students can take that focus on their areas of interest in biology. They are free to even combine courses from these general areas together.
Note: This serves as a guide tailored to potential fields of interests and courses listed are not all required to be a biology major.

Co-op ProgramCo-operative Education will give you a deeper, richer educational experience, real-world work experience, career connections and employment income during work terms. Co-op allows you to alternate career-focused work terms with study terms and receive special co-op degree designation upon graduation.
